SIO 2025 Recap

It was definitely not a gamble to attend SIO in Las Vegas!

The CAS-One IR team was there in full force. We were able to show off the advantages of Quality Ablation to many individuals who had never heard of us before, as well as a handful of existing users. Not all conversations were held to the US, as there were IRs from Australia, Saudi Arabia, UK, France, just to name a few.

We also learned more about the reimbursement gains made in the USA for patients treated with treatment planning and confirmation – reach out to us if you would like to learn more details on this emerging topic.

Perhaps most notably, was in the Stereotaxy and Robotics session – where Bruno Odisio, Nadine Abi-Jaoudeh, and Iwan Paolucci gave presentations on the foundation of stereotaxy, the value of planning, and ablation confirmation in practice using such technologies. 

The single thing that stood out the most was the current data on patients treated with liver lesions at MD Anderson with the AI-driven AblaSure, which, after 6 months, has shown zero instances of recurrence. In the future we expect the number of patients treated to grow, as well as the follow-up period.

We look forward to starting many new centers in the USA in 2025, and will look forward to future publications from the group at MD Anderson looking at their ultra-low recurrence rate as more data becomes available.
