The "demonstration / marketing" device pool for us at CASCINATION is usually 4 systems. This June, all of them were in rotation as it was a very busy month for us in many exciting places, with many interesting people.
First up in early June was Journée de Radiologie Interventionnelle in Paris - hosted by the IR team from the famous Institute Gustave Roussy - where the organizers did a fantastic job showing live case recordings. The room was full of more than 100 people and most notably, the engagement and discussion was prevalent throughout the event.
Next up was IOUK in Newcastle - Supported by our team of Josh and Margrethe. IOUK has always been well attended by IRs focused on of course, IO, in the UK and we met many old and new contacts throughout the country.
Then was a long trip, CAS-One IR went to ONCO Sobrice - in Salvador, Brazil. A dedicated IO conference to just the Brazilian audience. Stefan Weber, Elizandra Kania, and Ahmet Guerle supported from the CASCINATION side and met many new physicians, as well as some hospital administrators looking to upgrade their tumor ablation procedures.
Then was the seccond (hopefully annually!) IO Baltics conference. A small, but passionate group of IRs focused on IO discussed all of the issues facing them in northeast Europe. Notably, they invited a handful of surgeons to speak - showing the close collaboration in teh region. Thanks to our partner AmberCell for sposoring the event.
The month ended with our Clinical Application Specialist (CApS) Team, including our largest distributors - Dismeval (ES) and Sanova (AT), full-day workshop in Bern. The CApS role is critical to the company as they are THE ablation experts and travel globally to support CAS-One IR cases. They spent many hours discussing challenging cases, hospital workflows, and how to improve everything we do here at CASCINATION and we look forward to the event next year, or possibly even before.
We certainly have less events in July and August, but of course coming up very soon is CIRSE in Copenhagen.
