CAS-One® IR
Quality Ablation with CAS-One IR becomes predictive and automatic
The next evolution of CAS-One IR is on its way and will be launched in clinics soon. Significant functionality has been added to continue to progress towards the goal of 100% margins for all patients
Tissue deformation and motion become increasingly irrelevant in re-ablation decisions and treatment planning with AblaFuse®
Post-ablation margin assessment is among the most critical steps of a treatment. Often, organs slightly shift because size, shape and location can change due to many reasons: tissue expands or collapses due to the actual ablation, residual respiration from the patient, the needle pushing the liver during insertion, or even incidental physical contact with the patient, just to name a few.
In this context, we introduce our all-new automatic image fusion – AblaFuse – that is capable of accurately fusing pre- and post-treatment images in the target region – making these deformations and “movements”, irrespective of reason, irrevelant.
The decision to re-ablate or not, will become faster, and even more objective.
CAS-One IR becomes predictive
CAS-One IR will anticipate your next step and its software will make you swing through the case seamlessly while the clock is ticking.
For example: Images series now load automatically into the correct software module, all placed needles are detected without user interaction, and viewers auto-zoom and center immediately depending on the selected lesion or trajectory.
Treatment strategy and outcomes stored in PACS
The Capture button now transfers CAS-One IR screenshots directly to PACS.
Manual data transfer via USB is a thing of the past. Treatment information is stored in the place where it belongs, the PACS environment.

And much more
The new version features faster segmentations, improved liver segmentation, smoother UI experience, a SmartMargin assessment incorporating organ boundaries, and parenchyma tissue volumetrics.

Approved software versions differ per geography. Contact CASCINATION for details on which software is approved in your region.

Quality Ablation Success Stories
How Quality Ablation has helped interventional radiologists to achieve better results in their treatment outcomes for tumour patients.
-
The cost of an ablation is a fourth of the cost of a resection. Five patients converted from surgery to ablation, the system has paid for itself.
