Axial, sagittal, coronal — the standard trio of orthogonal views has served us well. But interventional radiology isn’t always straight lines and right angles. That’s why we’re introducing Oblique MPR — a smarter way to follow the needle path, precisely in line with how IRs think, train, and work every day.
AI-based lesion segmentation. From planning to ablation confirmation
Trained on thousands of cases, our AI now distinguishes between liver, lung and kidney lesions. As more clinical partners apply Quality Ablation across different organs, our enhanced segmentation helps precisely define tumors and margins — enabling clearer visualization and more reliable quantitative assessment of treatment.

What was visual is now even more measurable
Adding more measurement tools has always been high up on our list – now we are beginning to see some of these ideas come to life. During both planning and ablation confirmation, it is possible to view key metrics such as the volume and maximum diameter of the tumor and its planned margin. The same measurements are also available in AblaSure, alongside the key metric of the Minimal Ablated Margin – a term that is becoming more frequently used.

More segmentations, smarter viewing
CAS-One IR now supports even more anatomical segmentations — including the digestive system, gallbladder, spleen and the heart. With this expansion, we’re introducing a new name: Anatomy Atlas.
To keep things intuitive, we’ve added controls to toggle annotations on and off — making it easy to switch between a clean native CT view or a fully detailed plan with multiple treatments and trajectories. More information when you need it. Less when you don’t. And last but not least, CAS-One IR now feels even more natural to use, with support for familiar touchscreen gestures like pinch-to-zoom and drag-to-move annotations.
